BRT System

What is BRT?

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is a high – quality bus based transit system that delivers fast, comfortable, and cost effective services. The System uses dedicated lanes, with busways and stations typically aligned at the centre of the road. Because BRT contains features like a light rail or metro system, it is more reliable, convenient and faster than regular bus services. With right features, a BRT system can avoid delay factors that typically slow regular bus services.
